Little John’s big bedtime story

Little John’s big bedtime story

This is part one of our new parental guide section. If you have problems with your children putting things away like plates cups etc, try the humourous approach. We did, and whilst it didn`t work, it did precipitate his moving out, so it was a result anyway...now are you sitting comfortably.

Once upon a time in Dishwasher world, lived a little boy called Jon. Jon lived an idyllic life in a tranquil corner of Dishwasher World called Carrymefetchmeland. Jon would often come home hungry from a hard days activities at the pub or from playing footy with his jolly chums Crud, Dobbo, Downsey, Oggy. Whiz, Bang, Bing and Bong.

Jon would go to the kitchen, where the magical mystery microwave fairy would have left a wholesome hearty meal of home produced organic produce. Jon would eat his meal, leave his plate on the side, then make the short journey up the wooden hill to beddy bye bobos land.

One day, Jon having eaten his meal, prepared by the magical mystery microwave fairy, with his empty plate as a shield, made the perilous journey through the scary living room, over the wobbly dum dum dining room, across the barren kitchen where he bravely placed his empty dish in the dishwasher.

The sun shone in the sky, the birds sang, the wise old owl hooted, the children lined the streets and oh how the people of Dishwasher world cheered...and everyone lived happily ever after.
