You'll never walk alone
With the transfer window firmly closed at the end of January Simmal Club Chairperson Susan Simmons negotiated special dispensation from FIFA’s Sepp Blatter for two mid term loan deals. The first saw Oakshott hotshot Lee Pepperell move to Ranglet Road on a season long deal with utility player Jacqui Draper moving in the opposite direction on a free transfer. Striker Lee joins the Ranglet team at a pivotal stage of the season and First team coach John Simmons was pleased with his debut week. “Yeah, what can you say about the Pepster, he’s a good boy, he’s a strong boy, did well in the lower leagues, showed well early doors in training and slotted a sheet deal on his home debut with a good assist from Bob Smith. Still first week was a week of two halves, good first 45, tired in the second and tragically picked up a reoccurrence of prior injury to his hair straighteners late on. The boy is sick as a parrot now, but remains in strong contention for the Simmal young player of the year award”

♫ We’ll be there for you when the rain starts to pour ♫
Some people see financial departments as a black sheep within the commercial departmental flock, a corporate prodigal son within the extended business family, a barren landscape in a world of glorious technicolour whose creativity has no beginnings. At the home of aluminium we refute this entirely. So in recognition of their standing and following the overwhelming positive response to Neil Hamilton’s Easter top ten we dedicate this month’s currency top 10 to our financial friends.
