Nils satis nisi optimum

It isn’t often the writer allows personal issues to enter the blog site, but with a nucleus of indigenous Evertonians in our ranks it would be disingenuous not to mark the incredbile victory over Manchester United yesterday…so with that in mind, in time honoured fashion, “Matt Busby, Sir Alex Ferguson, Eric Cantona, Bobby Charlton, Terry Christian, Mike Atherton, Eamon Holmes, Mick Hucknall, Angus Deaton, Ulrika Jonsson, Patrick Kielty, Kim Marsh, Gary Rhodes and Neil O Connoll...your boys took one hell of a beating”

DIY the new art?

DIY the new art?

“The world is divided between people who treat their garden fences and people who don’t” so says fine art expert AKA’s world’s cleverest man Neil Hamilton (pictured left) Neil was at the opening of his new collection showcasing great masters re created using only the mediums of creosote and varying wood preservative and timber care products. Singled out as being particularly praiseworthy (and a potential Turner Prize entry) was the “Hey Wayne” this combined Constable’s traditional Haywain with a Japanese manga style representation of Manchester’s own Wayne Rooney as a farm labour in 1770’s Suffolk. Brian Sewell celebrated art critic, likened Neil to the new Banksy…”Crikey if this doesn't lead to a whole new generation of kids taking up water based sprayers and attacking conventional fence treatment perceptions I will jolly well eat my hat”
