Mardi gras; schmaddy gras… Notting hill, schnotting hill ..Haj smaj…parade ? you wanna see a real parade? Well The Walker Stadium Leicester was the place to be recently where Neil Markham’s daughter Ella took centre stage (or was that centre shell) gracing the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics. A packed crowd of 23000 watched a colourful display finishing with a dance spectacular. Rumours of proud parent Neil doing particularly bad "dad dancing" in the stands were hotly denied by Adele, he was just shaking with pride she explained. Next stop London 2012
