♫ Drop the pilot fly my balloon ♫
Boy racer Paul Hinchcliffe (pictured left) Preston Sales took to the skies recently taking the controls of a Sopwith Camel. Subaru fan Paul had a spiffing time with his old RAF chums Crud, Dobbo, Downsey, Oggy, Whiz, Bang, Bing, and Bong, opting not for a fight with the jolly old Hun, but a flypast, dash it all, over that most sacred of hallowed grounds, the killing fields of Goodison Park. An excited Paul said it was a tremendous high, 3500 feet to be precise, and given that he was getting married in September he deserved one last fleeting moment of pleasure. After a successful landing it was back to the mess with old tales of France and the Somme enjoying horse burgers with the garlic eaters, then off to bar for iced buns and lashings of ginger beer.
