Eat my fumes......

Home of Aluminium staff welcomed a triumvirate of Automotive Design Students from UCLAN earlier this week fresh from their unprecedented success in the recent University Rocket Car Challenge. Simon, Ian and Ryan (pictured with Simmal’s Jose Vasquez and Lee Pepperrell) literally blew the competition away and were the only team to have a vehicle successfully cross the finishing line. Whilst Ryan is off on a year out at Mercedes in Northampton next year, Ian and Simon are already working on a full race car which will debut at Silverstone in 2014 We both congratulate them and wish them the very best and continued success in the coming months and years.
