Delegates of the “Aluminium Extrusion Tooling” Forum are welcomed by Mr. Gary Dion, a world famous expert in aluminium extrusion industry and a member of the International Advisory Committee.
I would like to welcome you to the “First Aluminum Extrusion Tooling Conference” in Moscow . As a consultant who travels the globe teaching extrusion improvements I know how valuable education and information exchange is. I have consulted many extrusion companies from Mexico, United States, India, Chile, Ecuador, and Canada to name a few. Even though extruders are competitors among themselves, the whole global economy of extrusion must continue to join together as one competitor against other competing materials. Both in improving productivity and broadening the uses of aluminum we must stay abreast of the very latest in technology.
Also as a representative of VIP Tooling I find it important to share the opportunity to improve your extrusion die life. We at VIP Tooling are also committed to helping the extrusion industry improve its quality and productivity. VIP Tooling is beginning to revolutionize the extrusion die, taking it to a whole new level that has not been done in many years though its patent pending tooling and processes.
As a long time teacher one thing I have learned myself is, “We all have something to learn as well as something we can share”. I have been a member of the ETF (Extrusion Technology Foundation) steering committee for over 24 years and we are always being introduced to new products and processes. I am certain these seminars as well as other seminars around the globe will benefit us all and continue to make the extrusion industry stronger. I hope you will all enjoy the conference and look forward to meeting you.

New starter at the Home of Aluminium
John Simmons or as he prefers to be known as, Kim Il John 2nd "The great Leader" welcomed new girl Jacqui Newton to sales admin at our Ranglet Road main distribution hub. Jacqui, pictured alongside, is a mother of three and cites board games as her true passion in life. Says Jacqui, "board games mirror the spirituality of life, for example Snakes and Ladders is all about the ups down, unexpected twists and turns, peaks and troughs that life deals us, whilst Ludo analogises success in life through riding on the back of others"... mmm what about marbles then Jacqui... you lost yours????? Jacqui worked previously for a major carrier company, we can't mention their name but it's like dynamite... So she will be more used to letting people down than most…no prospect of that though at her new home, the home of aluminium...
For those of you viewing in black and white, Jacqui's the one in the middle...
