The First International Conference and Exhibition "Aluminium Extrusion Tooling"
The First International Conference and Exhibition “Aluminium Extrusion Tooling” was successfully in Moscow in November 14-16, 2007. It was organized by Alusil MVT and Aluminium Extruders Association (AEA) within the framework of the 13th International Specialized Exhibition “Metal-Expo’2007”. Sponsors of the Conference were the world-famous companies COMPES SPA, KIND & CO. EDELSTAHLWERK и METAL-EXPO, JSC. Almost 110 representatives from 68 companies representing 16 countries of Europe, Asia, North America, Canada and the Middle East attended the Forum.

Aluminium of Siberia
Aluminium of Siberia has become the major conference for the Russian aluminum industry. It gathers experts from Russia along with their potential partners from the West seeking opportunities in the Russian markets. This year, attendance comprised 416 experts from 14 countries, including 335 representatives from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. In total, 72 papers were presented dealing with aluminum reduction technology, casting, production of alumina, carbon materials, and ecology and labor protection.
Representatives from 23 companies-including 12 participants from the United States, France, Germany, India, and the Netherlands-took part in the exhibition. The event was staged by an organizing committee with cooperation from Rusal's Engineering and Technological Centre (ETC); KrAZ; the state University of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold (Krasnoyarsk); and the Light Metals Scientific & Technical Centre (Krasnoyarsk).

November 14-16, 2007, the First in Russia International Conference and Exhibition Aluminium Extrusion Tooling organized by Aluminium Extruders Association (Russia) will take place in "Holiday Inn Moscow Lesnaya" Hotel. Official support is provided by the Ministry of Industry and Energy, Russian Union of Metal Exporters, Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers and Federal Agency on Industry.
The goal is to thoroughly discuss the status and trends of the present market of extrusion tooling and to demonstrate the latest achievements in science and technology.
