Congratulations
It is always great to be associated with winners and all at Simmal were delighted to have played their part in assisting one of our southern based customers Phabrix to award winning success recently. Beating off stiff competition from Quantel, Tandberg Television, Omneon and Thomson, the PHABRIX SxA won the IABM Peter Wayne Award for Design and Innovation at IBC. The PHABRIX SxA test and measurement device was judged by the independent panel as THE most innovative in design. Operating within a very tight lead time for extrusion tooling, the initial samples were handed over at Corley Services to hit the exhibition deadline. Our congratulations to everyone at Phabrix and we wish them continued success.

The survey predicts that the domestic market for aluminium extrusion products will rise with an annual growth rate of 5.0 percent in the period 2006-2008. The aluminium-rolling sector is a heavily export-oriented sector and has recorded an average annual growth rate of 9.5 percent in the period 1999-2005.
