Breaking News Simmal Final Squad Announced
Fabio Simmoni announces last three places in final squad of 45. David Black ex Liverpool Academy and Hattersley Newman and Hender will play just ahead of the back four. David has the experience in this vital holding role and though the legs aren’t what they were in his hay day, his steady head, mature outlook and good organisational skills can still influence the play around him.
Steve Tyrell a creative midfielder never hit the big time till now. However with years of experience around the lower leagues with Manchester and Bolton teams will relish the opportunity of playing with a premier ship outfit. “It was always my hope that one day I would get to play in the theatre of dreams at Walton Summit,” said a nervy Steve at his opening day press conference, “but I believe with the star players we have and the service I know I can provide we can get the results the guv expects.
Up front is veteran striker Martin Jones, Martin had a couple of transfers recently that didn’t quite work out, and came to Simmal on a free in the February transfer window. Martin has previously played with Steve in the Championship with Zenith MSP and is looking forward to linking up with him again in the big time. Said Martin, “I always enjoyed my time in the lower divisions, but it is great to be playing for a progressive forward thinking results hungry team for the first time in a long time”
