Not just aluminium but art in its purest form
Cairo home to the pyramids. Paris home to the Eiffel Tower, London home to Big Ben. .. Well move over chaps there’s a new monument in town, courtesy of Chris Bramhall and Simmal the Home of Aluminium.
No need to fly, no need to Cruise, no need to go by hot air balloon, just follow the crowds to the romantically named A66 Cargo Fleet Roundabout near Middlesborough and pay homage at the altar of aluminium. With comparisons already being made to Stonehenge, the Cargo Fleet area is now a well-worn pathway on the global tourist itinerary.
Simmal art aficionado Jacqui Newton described the creation as “a deliberate ambiguity almost a plea for greater understanding in this mechanized ethos”
