Aluminium Extrusion Machining and Fabrication
When we have extruded your chosen aluminium alloy, it is ready to be manufactured into an aluminium product. Typically, this means cutting, drilling, welding, bending, engraving and joining your extrusions with our specialised aluminium machining and aluminium fabrication tools.
To create your finished aluminium products, we use advanced aluminium machining and fabrication tools, including CNC cutters, drills, and engraving machines. Using these tools, we are able to:
- Cut your aluminium extrusions to the required dimensions with great precision. Our state-of-the-art CNC cutters and milling tools can cut your aluminium accurately at different lengths, with minimal risk of chipping or fracturing the aluminium. We use a variety of cutters, including CNC solid carbide saws, plasma cutters and water jet cutters, which allow us to cut a variety of shapes precisely, without affecting the properties of your aluminium alloy.
- Create smoother edges and surfaces. While we are able to cut aluminium extrusions accurately, some cuts made with thicker saws can cause an element of 'burring' (rough edges). Using our advanced aluminium grinding equipment, we can remove these edges, leaving you with smooth surfaces, angles and edges.
- Drill your aluminium extrusions to exact measurements. We have a range of machining tools that allow us to drill clean and precise holes in aluminium, and also have aluminium tapping equipment for creating screw-threads. This means we can provide aluminium products that are easy to assemble, with precise and smooth edged shapes and high quality screw threads.
- Punch, press, and shear aluminium to create holes, perforations, indentations and curves. Our skilled team can use the latest punch and press tools to create surface effects and cut away sections of your panels and aluminium components.
- Join your aluminium alloys. Our skilled aluminium fabrication team can weld your alloy to create the joins needed to realise your design. Here, their experience is vital as aluminium's conductive nature means it can be melted or overheated. But your aluminium products are in safe hands, as our team know exactly how to treat your aluminium so that it is suitable for welding and will create the required joins at appropriate temperatures.
While our technology allows us to create almost any aluminium product you require, it is our skilled team that sets our aluminium machining and fabrication service apart.
Our aluminium machining and aluminium fabrication teams are highly trained and are skilled in the use of the latest cutting, punching, shearing, drilling and grinding tools. They are also highly experienced, having worked on aluminium products for a diverse range of industries, and have an in-depth knowledge of aluminium alloys. So they have the skill, expertise, and judgement to fabricate your aluminium products to the highest standard.
