When we create your aluminium extrusions, they have their natural 'mill finish', which is a dull, metallic grey.  But with our aluminium surface treatments, we can give your aluminium extrusions a wide range of stylish finishes, including colour finishes. We can also prepare your aluminium products for printing, so that logos, branding etc. can be applied successfully. But our surface treatments are not only about looks - many of our surface treatments also improve the properties of your aluminium alloy, giving it extra durability or improving its anti-corrosion qualities.

For some projects, the natural 'mill finish' is perfectly adequate, especially if the aluminium extrusion is not going to be prominent in your product. For example, internal components for machinery do not need to be aesthetically pleasing as they are rarely seen, and so there is little need to increase your costs with a surface treatment.  A mill finish also has some practical benefits, as it means there is no need for bonding with other materials, which can, in some cases, lead to difficulties and additional costs.
